| Calvert Farm Link interns are high school
students, in some cases, teachers and school employees who would like
to work on local farms, nurseries, and farm businesses this summer.
Some have experience that may be of immediate use to those who hire
them part time. Some can work before school is out, and have
transportation. Many are young; but eager, and will require teaching,
as this is their first real job.
To request a list of applicants, please contact the
Department of Economic Development on 410/535-4583. We hope that you
can find, hire and train some good employees by using this list. It is
our hope that new residents will come to know and appreciate the farm
community better by helping you achieve your goals.
