The Calvert County Office of the Maryland Cooperative Extension is the University of Maryland in Calvert County. Our mission is to educate citizens in the application of research-based information concerning critical issues facing individuals, families and communities. We provide issue-based educational programs for adults and youths in Agriculture and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, and 4-H Youth Development which focus on agricultural profitability, a clean and health environment, sustainable communities, nutrition and food safety, financial resource management, critical life skills for youth, and leadership development.
