CAASA Committees

Local Volunteer Groups

CAASA is organized into committees of local volunteers working together to address alcohol and other drug abuse issues and concerns.

Community Relations
Work with local churches, Neighborhood Watch communities and the general public to increase the community's knowledge of the alcohol and drug problem in Calvert County and to encourage the public to take action and participate.

Education
To work with the Board of Education, College of Southern Maryland and private schools to develop multi-faceted programs to address alcohol and drug abuse among our students.

To provide a mechanism to bring communities together to exchange information and ideas in an effort to make them stronger and safer.
