The Chesapeake Beach Historic Heritage Trail is a self-guided walking tour through the Town of Chesapeake Beach highlighted with wayside signs. These informational signs show and tell the historical significance of the various spots located along the way of the "trail". As you follow the trail and study the signs, try to imagine what it was once like "back in the heyday.”

The museum, the only surviving train depot building from the Chesapeake Beach Railway, shares the story of the Chesapeake Beach Railway and Amusement Park in the early 20th century. The railway was a direct route from Washington, D.C. to Chesapeake Beach and included steamship arrivals from Baltimore establishing the area as the new "Monte Carlo" of the east. Free admission.

The Chesapeake Beach Railway Trail is located partially on the right of way of the long abandoned Chesapeake Beach Railway, it can be accessed behind Chesapeake Beach Water Park The trail offers scenic views of Fishing Creek and hundreds of acres of surrounding marsh and forest and includes two bridges and several timber walkways over the creek or marshland. Wildlife is abundant and visitors to the trail are quite often treated to bald eagle sightings.

This is a regulation nine-hole, par 35 course that also offers a nine-hole, par 27 course. Other offerings include a driving range with mats and grass teeing area. Amenities include pull and golf carts, driving range and lessons. Our disc golf course is an 18 hole par 61 facility which can be walked, or a cart rental is available and we also have an 18-hole putt putt course perfect for families and kids of all ages.  There are multiple hazards, and unique holes to keep you entertained for about 45 minutes!
