CAASA Mini Grants

CAASA provides $4,000 in mini grants to community organizations to encourage and promote prevention education and outreach. CAASA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s mini-grant recipients:

2025-2026 Grant Award Recipients

  • Calvert Baptist Church - funds were awarded to assist with the Next Generation - Substance Abuse Prevention Program
  • Calvert County Sheriff's Office - DARE Program - awarded funds to support the DARE Summer Camp.  
  • Concerned Black Women of Calvert County -  funds were awarded to support the Minority Institute of Leadership and Leaning Conference being held in March 2026 for 160 high school students.  This event focuses on building and learning leadership skills, education on the topics of drug misuse; self-esteem, financial literacy, self-confidence, healthy relationship, etc. 
  • Mt. Olive Churchfunds were awarded to assist with the Yardley Hills Academic Support Program. 
  • Patuxent Appeal Campus - awarded funds to support the PAC Emotional Regulation Station.
